I downloaded Reallusion Hub and Character Creator v4.52 (trial) for the first time today. When I try to open Character Creator, either from Reallusion Hub or the desktop shortcut, the program crashes before it finishes launching. I tried the typical steps of restarting my PC, reinstalling Reallusion Hub and Character Creator, running as administrator, but nothing has worked.
After doing some research online I discovered an issue from 2019 pertaining to Nvidia drivers that matched my issue. When checking the Event Viewer after the crash, I get this error:
The agreed upon solution online was to roll back the Nvidia drivers. I attempted that, and rolled my drivers back as far as I could to 31.0.15.5244, but it didn't solve or change the issue. It also is unclear what version I would need to revert to in order to solve this issue. All sources online list a version from 2019 when the issue first began, but that's not an option for my computer.
PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7900X 64gb RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Windows 10
Update: I appear to have resolved the issue by downloading Nvidia's Studio driver in place of the Game ready driver, and choosing a clean install in the custom install settings.
