Issue 12231
Creating REACH dummy causes Floor in scene to lose its texture.
1. Create scene. Basic Floor, Basic Box, Avatar (eg. Kevin)
2. Edit Reach Target. Select Kevin's Hand and select the Box as Target.
3. Create Dummy. Message appears: "The Display Dummy Object in the project settings is currently turned off, which means the created dummies will not be visible. Please Turn it on.
4. Turning on "Display Dummy" in the project settings causes the floor to lose its texture and it also re-sizes.

Note: The Dummies display ok.
Please see screenshots of the steps involved.

Hi paro_3453,

Thank you for your feedback!

Based on the screenshot from your Step 4, the Floor's texture is not actually missing. Instead, the Shadow Catcher's material is visible and appears to be layered over the Floor, which makes it look like the texture is gone.

If you adjust the Floor's transform (position), you should be able to see the Floor and its texture clearly, as the Shadow Catcher's default position will be underneath the Floor.

You can control the visibility of the Shadow Catcher (which acts as a Dummy Object) by checking the setting here:

Project Settings Panel > Display Section - Dummy Object:

https://manual.reallusion.com/iClone_7/ENU/Content/iClone_7/Pro_7.4/04_Introducing_the_User_Interface/Project_Settings_Display.htm

I'm attaching a GIF that illustrates what happens in the viewport when the Dummy Object display is toggled ON and the Shadow Catcher appears.

Thank

jasmine
