Product:
iClone 8
Version:
8.61
Status:
Not Reproducible
Issue 12206
Failed to open Iclone 8.61
Whenever I try to open iClone 8.61, it crashes. I’ve attached an image showing the error — it always stops at the bottom status bar where it says “Loading Plugin: Motion Live” and then crashes. I’ve tried multiple times and also restarted my PC, but the problem remains the same.

On my second PC, iClone 8.61 opens fine. However, on that PC it sometimes crashes whenever I try to add an FBX motion file (Xsens motion file).

I encountered the same problem. The interface showed the process of loading the Motion Live plugin, and then it exited. But this kind of problem doesn’t occur all the time, and its occurrence is very random.

Hello Allen,

"I have tried all the suggested options, including updating to the latest software version, disabling the firewall, and updating both the graphics card drivers and Windows. However, the problem still persists. I have already shared my system information, but I was unable to share a crash dump file. I followed the instructions provided, but I could not find the file in the (%APPDATA%\iClone\CrashDump) directory. Please help me resolve this issue.

Thank you,
Bhavesh
