Issue 5242
Activate Appearance Editor grayed out
On CC3 default character the Appearance Editor is unavailable.
Is it a bug or is intended?

I wanted to add some freckles on my character but I can't find a way.

As someone who has just purchased CC3 Pipeline, how do I create a CC1 character so that I can edit its appearance?

To make any adjustments to the skin in CC3 you need to start with a CC1 character and after adjustments convert it to a CC3 one. There is a video regarding this here:

Thank you!
In the meantime is there a proper way to add freckles and/or scalp to a CC3 character?

Thank you for your feedback.

This is intended. The Appearance Editor is not compatible in CC 3.0, it will be available in future releases.
So we will take this issue as a suggestion.
