Bug with subdivision
Hello, when activating the "Edit Mesh" or "Skin Weights" function, the subdivision is reset, which is why the objects become low-poly. After that, the "smooth mesh" item disappears. This happens in any projects.

Thanks For your feedback.

This result is expected. The "Subdivide" here doesn't actually subdivide the faces, but rather affects the visual result in the Viewport. Therefore, during editing, the actual mesh is still the primary focus. If you want to obtain the subdivided result, you need to select "Use Subdivide Mesh" during export.
