Feature Suggestions for Decentraland Integration in Upcoming Reallusion Upgrade
Hello Reallusion Team,

I'm an active developer and creator within Decentraland and would like to suggest features that could greatly improve the workflow between Character Creator/iClone and Decentraland (DCL). With the growing demand for metaverse-ready assets, native support for DCL inside your tools would be a game-changer.

Here are my suggestions:
Feature Requests for Decentraland Integration:

1. Decentraland GLB Export Preset:
One-click export with all DCL-compliant settings: triangulated meshes, clean bone hierarchy, baked PBR textures, and material optimization.


2. DCL Avatar Template (Male/Female):
Standard skeletons rigged to Decentraland's spec for easy wearable testing and avatar deployment.

3. DCL Emote Animation Exporter:
Export iClone animations directly as DCL-ready emotes (30 FPS, 9 seconds max).
Bake keyframes and preview how emotes appear in-world.


4. Prop Animation Support:
Enable export of animated props (e.g. skateboards, swords, doors) attached to characters or independently animated.

Allow synchronized export with avatar animations and proper separation of character vs prop rigs in GLB.

5. Motion Retargeting to DCL Rig:
Retarget custom iClone motions to the DCL skeleton with correct naming, bone structure, and hierarchy.
Maintain animation fidelity after baking.


6. Material Optimizer for WebGL/GLTF:
Bake glow, transparency, and PBR maps into optimized textures.
Downscale large textures (e.g., 4K to 512) without losing visible detail.


7. Wearable Creator Toolkit:
Create Decentraland-compatible wearables with proper skinning and triangle count checks.
Include one-click shape key cleanup and auto weight-painting to DCL bones.

8. Batch Export Tool for Scenes & Assets:
Export characters, environments, props, and animations as DCL-ready GLBs in one click.
Optional size estimator and Creator Hub optimization toggle.


9. Metaverse Plugin SDK Access:
Open plugin system for creating custom tools focused on platforms like Decentraland, Somnia, ZTX, etc.

These upgrades would drastically enhance cross-platform development and reduce friction for creators building for the decentralized web. I truly appreciate your commitment to innovation, and I hope these suggestions are considered for future updates.
