Hi ludwig.seibt Thank you for your question. The “Convert Skinned Expression to Morph” option is not available for ActorBuild characters, because they are embedded characters with a fixed setup. Unlike standard CC Base characters, ActorBuild characters do not support converting bone-driven facial expressions into morphs. This means that while ActorBuild characters can still perform facial animations through bones after export, they will not generate morph targets (blendshapes) for expressions. If you require ARKit blendshapes or morph-based facial expression editing in external software, we recommend converting your ActorBuild character into a CC Base character before export. Hey. I have the same problem with an actorBuild Character. Both options "Mouth Open as Morph" and "Convert Skinned Expression to Morph" are greyed out in the Exporter. I need a game quality character that has ARkit blendshapes including for mouth, jaw and tongue. How can I achieve this?
Hi JadeGear This issue is related to one of the options in the Advanced Settings of the Export Settings. If you check the "Convert Skinned Expression to Morph" option, adjusting the Morph sliders will display the expressions on your character.
