When transforming a Daz 3D G3 character then using unreal live to transform model to UE5…UE5 crashes
Steps: Open a DAZ 3D G3 model in DAZ Studio and export out as .FBX Open character creator 4 or 5, then transform as a CC3+, bake the texture (the model and clothing is added to character creator) then send the model to Iclone 8. Open UE5 In iclone, Use Unreal Live Link to transfer the model to UE5 During the live link transfer during the Auto Setup between Iclone and UE5 I get an error from UE5 where the software crashes. If I use a standard Iclone model I didn’t have that problem. I haven’t tried this process with other DAZ 3D models types yet (ex., G8 or G9) so far it’s definitely the G3 models that are causing UE5 to crash during the UE Live Link transfer from Iclone.

Based on your description, we have exported the Daz G3 Neutral to CC, transfered it to CC3+ and then sent it to UE via Live Link Transfer in our environment, but we did not encounter any crash issues.
Could you provide the Daz files you are using, as well as the version of UE? If possible, please upload it to a cloud drive (like Google Drive) and reply with the download link. You can set the link as private if you'd prefer.
Also, please ensure that you have updated the correct versions of Live Link and Auto Setup. (If you are using the original UE project, you will need to completely remove the installed Live Link and Auto Setup before reinstalling them.)
