Exporting FBX crash iClone
Every time I attempt to export an FBX file from iClone8 (version 8.53), the program crashes at around 85% completion. The textures and the .fbm file are exported successfully, but the FBX file is not.

I have already tried several solutions, including updating the GPU drivers and Windows, reinstalling iClone, and cleaning up storage space, but none of these methods have worked. I even created a new project in iClone with just a basic 3D prop (Sphere) and tried exporting again. Unfortunately, iClone still crashes during export. I tested with both the Unity 3D preset and the Maya preset, but neither setting resolved the issue.

In the Task Manager, iClone shows "No response" when the exporting process reaches around 80%, and shortly afterward, the program status changes to "Suspended."

I am using Windows 10 and would greatly appreciate any solutions or advice you might have.

Hi, it has been for a while and I am wondering if there is any update. 

I tried to delete temp and cache file in folder "iClone ", "Temp"and "Reallusion" at a path, C:\Users\username\AppData\Local. 
 iClone and CC4  still crash. After I delete temp file, it works only 1 time  after delete those folder. 
But when I open it again, then same crash continue to happen again .
I also deleted temp file again but iClone keep crashing when fbx is imported. 
iClone version is updated to latest version.


I hope I will have a solution for it as soon as possible

I would like to quickly answer your questions below. 

1. Does the crash still occur if you export from iClone to a different location?
- Yes, I tried to export different file locations but still crash happens.
2. Do you experience the same problem when exporting FBX from Character Creator 4 (CC4)?
- Yes, Unable to export and import fbx in CC4 and iClone.
3. Do you have another computer at home you could test this on to see if the issue also occurs there?
Actually, we have  one PC which has iClone but the software works without any problems. 

I did virus scan, sfc scan, toggling firewall setting, clean reboot etc, but none of them helped. 
I also tried to changed  file location to install iClone. I also uninstall every Reallusion software include Reallusion hub and re install them  but it didnt help. 

GPU driver is latest version as well. 

Please let me know if any information is needed.

We have found other cases where the issue was caused by a firewall or antivirus software. Normally, adding the software to the whitelist in your antivirus or firewall settings should resolve the problem. However, since you have already tried disabling your antivirus and firewall and the issue still persists, it becomes a bit more difficult to diagnose.

As we are unable to reproduce the issue on our end, it's hard for us to pinpoint the exact cause. We may need to gather more information. Could you please help us by performing a few additional tests?

1. Does the crash still occur if you export from iClone to a different location?
2. Do you experience the same problem when exporting FBX from Character Creator 4 (CC4)?
