I discovered this in a project I had been working on, but was able to reproduce the issue using a simple scene, which is attached (displacement_issue.zip).
The scene consists of a plane sized to 900% with a displacement map. The displacement map is a noise image, tiled 10 times.

When I link the created camera to the avator spine or any part of the bones other than the root, camera follow works. However, when I link to the rootbone the camera does not follow the avator. I never had problems with the previous versions of Iclone....More
